Cameron Brown

Cameron Brown is the President and Founder of AMIT Consulting LLC. AMIT Consulting, founded in 2001, specializes in web-based software solutions for companies and institutions of all sizes. Our expertise includes high availability systems in high traffic environments, product usability, and rapid development. We have a background rooted in both business and technology consulting and access to the best consultants available, enabling us to deliver robust, usable solutions to enhance productivity.

Adele Goldberg

Dr. Adele Goldberg is a consultant focused on the use of virtual communities to support more effective teamwork. She is currently involved in projects on drug development, and training in neuroscience and mental health. From 2002 to 2006, Adele served as the CTO and new development manager of AgileMind, Inc., an educational technology company formed to enhance both equity and high achievement in secondary school math and science. Dr. Goldberg was the founding Chairman and CEO of ParcPlace Systems, Inc. ParcPlace was formed in 1988 from technology Adele helped develop while at the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center as researcher and laboratory manager of the Smalltalk-80 research team. Dr. Goldberg received a Ph.D. in Information Science from the University of Chicago. From 1984-1986, she served as president of the ACM, the U.S. computer professional society.

Mike Marshall

Mike Marshall is a consultant developing interactive web applications using Flash. From 1996 to 2001, Mike was the CTO of Funschool.com, where he invented technology to enable non-programmers to develop free, educational, internet games for children. Previously, he developed software for numerous graphics, animation, multimedia and game companies in Silicon Valley. Mike created the first Postscript videotape animation in 1991. He developed software that was used to create footage for the Hollywood film "Superman III." He has created computer art and animation that was exhibited, published and broadcast in the U.S., Europe, Japan and Mexico. Mike received a BS in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts.

Gopal Narayan

Dr. Gopal Narayanan is a faculty member at the Department of Astronomy, University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Dr. Narayanan has a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from California Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Arizona. He specializes in the building of sensitive radio astronomy receivers, study of the formation of stars, and in data analysis software for astronomical data. He has also contributed to several open source projects, and has been an official developer for the Debian GNU/Linux operating system for the past ten years. Dr. Narayanan has served as a data consultant for clients, both in academic and industry settings. His consultancy practice encompasses the delivery of various analyses, interpretation and visualization tools of large data sets over the web.
