About Us

Yosem Companys and Ricardo Rossello collaborated to invent the Bullitics concept to enhance existing polling methods and to build a grassroots polling community that better reflects society at large while empowering people to participate at all levels. Ricardo and Yosem built Bullitics together with an exceptional team of experts led by Cameron Brown, Adele Goldberg, Lilia Tovbin, Mike Marshall, Pau Santesmasses, and Gopal Narayanan.

The Founders

Ricardo Rossello

Ricardo ’Ricky’ Antonio Rossello, Ph.D is a Doctor in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan, political adviser to the New Progressive Party in Puerto Rico, and an entrepreneur in bioengineering and technology . He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) studying Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and Economics. He has been an accomplished athlete and mathematician since high school, where we was a three-time Junior Tennis Champion in Puerto Rico and was the first Puerto Rican to be selected to the International Mathematical Olympiads.

As a researcher in college, Ricardo worked on the world-renowned Human Genome Project and then traveled to his native Puerto Rico to help in the research needed to develop the Tren Urbano project. Ricardo went on to do adult stem cell research at the University of Michigan, aiming to alter these cells genetically to regenerate tissue and achieve targeted delivery. His findings suggest a potential strategy to improve cell-cell communication in 3D, implying that both targeted delivery and cell-based strategies can be used as treatments to enhance communication in 3D living tissue, which could have a significant impact in tissue engineering and cancer therapy.

As the son of a former governor and also gubernatorial candidate in the 2004 election, Ricardo Rossello soon turned to politics, getting actively involved as a staff member in his father's race. Prior to the development of YouTube.com in 2002, he developed the innovative concept of Rossello.TV; a live, 24-hour political web channel that showed live feeds and torrents of the campaign's political events and activities all over the island. The DNC and RNC subsequently adopted the concept for their respective conventions.
